Professional Clinical Supervision Services provide a reflective supervision for practitioners to explore their work with clients, their work within the wider system and the impact of the their work on themselves.

The emphasis is on a supportive space for self-reflection and exploration. Focus is given to the importance of self-care, to prevent compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma and burnout when the clients or the work most desperately need their services and supports.

The service is offered to individuals, small groups or teams and organisations.

CONTACT ME

Meet Paula

I work as an independent consultant supervisor, and I have 30 years’ experience of working with family and children in a variety of settings. My clinical supervisory experience expands from working with social workers, social care, nurses, and allied professionals to senior and middle managers.

For me supervision is a professional relationship between a supervisor and a supervisor where the supervisor facilitates the practitioner in reflecting critically upon their practice.

My supervision is informed by a number of well know supervision and reflective models with particular attention given to aspects such as the presenting needs, the relational nature of the work the unconscious dynamics and parallels that may be in operation, as well as many other layers such as developmental stage and learning style.
